Delete your data from Datrix

A student's, staff member's or employee's details

These are the details and photo entered for someone's ID card.

• Ask the school, college or company, or their ID card provider. They can remove the record in Datrix straight away.
• Or write to us at hello@datrixs.in, with the school or company's name, the person's name and their class or department. We check the request with them and remove the record within 30 days.

If you entered details in the app (a teacher or staff member)

Your account in the app is your name and mobile number under your school's login. To delete it, write to hello@datrixs.in from anywhere, with your mobile number and your school's name. Within 30 days we:

• delete your name and mobile number, and sign the app out on your phone;
• keep the records you entered, because they belong to your school's ID cards, but they no longer show your name.

What's deleted, and what's kept

• Deleted: the details, photos and signatures of the record or account you asked about.
• Kept for up to 7 days: copies in our nightly backups, which are replaced every night.
• Kept: a note of your request and when we acted on it, so we can show it was done.
